Question about the game. The ball that hit the batter in the hand. That would be a call that the hand is part of the bat right? I mean they called him out. But isn't that the rule about the hands and the bat as being the same.

Ump missed that one all the way around. He said it hit the bat and went forward into fair territory so he was thrown out at first. On replay in slow motion you could see it hit either the hand or the bat then the catcher and bounce into fair territory. Should have been a foul tip.

in the correct sub-forum on this message board. We are talking about baseball. Remind me again how many times South Carolina has knocked Clemson out of the post-season in the last 10 years.

I've noticed that for the past 3 years -- their strategy is to play like crap in the SECT, but then save everything for the Regionals and SR - and then Omaha. I don't know if that is their strategy or not, but that pattern is obvious.

Lets our boys get some rest. Typically our record is good enough to guarantee a regional/super regional host sight. I guess you can call it folding, but just don't think the teams goal is to win the conference.
