It's dangerous to send guys out to play in the mindset they are currently in. An NFL field is dangerous in the best circumstances, and having a bunch of half-focused guys out there isn't good for anyone.

My bet is they are awaiting word from the hospital. To see if he has stabilized or....well.

They will likely cancel either way. Just want to give word why

I think it should be called a tie. Both teams clinch their divisions and only downside is KC gets a first round bye in playoffs by default.
Both teams have another game on Sunday.

No score or stats or outcome either way. It won't be replayed or picked up later. They have mechanisms in place to account for these kinds of things when it comes to seedings and such.
