Maybe you did not watch the game, but FSU is not a crappy team. Their record is not good because of injuries and waiting for Miller to become eligible. They will beat some good teams before the season is over.

They are crappy by every metric out there, including their basic overall record. This is not football with eye tests...there are too many teams and too many games for voters to watch them all and realize that FSU is better than their record (see Clemson for reference).

So, from a statistical standpoint and in the eyes of voters, we beat a crappy team.

Unfortunately, the conference being really bad - hurts Clemson. Many years ago, it was the opposite.

Who can remember the last time the ACC had only 1 team in top 15? Then 2 more from 20-25.
