So which Bowl/Opponent do we want?

Likely highest bowl we can go to is Gator(if we win out).
I’d like that bowl, being in Jacksonville, and to play Florida. Our connection with the Jags and recruiting would grow with a win.

Florida is 5-5 with Mizzou and FSU left.The Gators aren't making a bowl.
A rematch with Tennessee in the Gator would be nice.

in the late 60's, barebone and all.
I was on the Cheerleading Squad, and we were mighty disappointed we didn't get to go. Don't think Tiger Band went either. Friend of mine said he was glad...afraid some earthquake might hit! lol

I've been to California 5 times for work (2 times) and parts of vacations (3 times) and I'm 20% for earth quakes. It's really not fun to be on the 12th floor of a hotel when the building starts rocking and rolling.

During my first trip to Cali, we had a 6.4 earthquake. Our hotel was rolling too. I have never felt so helpless. I had the morning news on and the news anchor got under her desk.

'89 Gator versus West Virginia, which we won.
Three carloads of family and friends met up at my home on Lake Murray the Thursday before, drove to St. Augustine Beach Friday, staying in an oceanfront hotel. Went on a dinner/gambling cruise out of Fernandina Beach, into JV for pregame activities (the JV folks did it up right,) tailgated with a huge WVU crowd and enjoyed the area the next day, especially when we ran into Danny Ford for photos and a chitchat, My parents were with us and had a blast. My God, the Clemson people were everywhere, starting when we left Columbia all along the interstates with flags flying, horns blowing, all over JV and St, Augustine, even a good number wearing the orange on the gambling cruise! Exciting trip....

Unfortunately if you’re going to start talking bowl matchups you have to think about who will opt out so the matchup you want will never be the matchup you get nowadays.

I would say that a 3 game losing streak for Louisville would open up the Orange Bowl for possibly Clemson or NC State.
