Soak it in - these are the good ole days

Dec 6, 2019, 11:12 PM

What a wonderful time for Clemson football. On the verge of history with 5 straight conference championships. It is wild to me so many people are treating this like a given. It is just a testament to how strong the program is at the moment.

Hope it is a big night in Charlotte. These are the good ole days.

Well said. We'd better enjoy every day of the ride. These are special days.

Agreed!! Was just thinking the other night ... when it gets to a point that as a fan base we start complaining about “where” the Conference Championship is held or the fact that we are “only” ranked 3rd ... I think back to the days when We were never in contention in the conference and I’d be so excited to just get some votes or creep into the polls.

When friends say ... Man you have been spending a lot on football tickets and travel the past couple of years, I just tell them that I realize this won’t last forever and I’m enjoying the ride. It’s like Winning the lottery ... because as fans we cannot Control our football program or team situation we can only enjoy it while it’s here!!

I think esp with the transfer portal and NCAA or the State of CA (and others to follow) paying players, that may change the landscape of college football. And who knows what will happen to colleges and universities all together in the future with technology and online programs .... so I am soaking it all in. Every last moment!!!!!
