Someone mentioned it earlier

Perhaps the success we’ve enjoyed on the crootin trail is due to us letting recruits know we’re ditching the ACC… this post is just me trying to say

LEAVE THE TITANIC

The titanic has served us well for all of my 70 years.

Didn't serve us well in the early 80s

When they gave us three years probation.

It's like Luke Skywalker said in The Last Jedi....

"It's time for the ACC.....to End!"

The ACC has served us very well, but unfortunately it appears our conference leaders were out smarted by ESPN, SEC & B1G. And football has grown so much in popularity in the last 15 years that it has become much more important than basketball. I doubt any of the recruits we have gotten commitment from previously were due to us going to SEC. Going forward, yes maybe.

Basketball had to be the only thing the ACC office was thinking about when they signed that deal. "Small Potatoes" and not enough to keep up with the Joneses in football.

The shame of it all is - Duke and North Carolina supposedly being the ones that have held the ACC together! Which is nonsense! Unless it's the NCAA tournament since the start of the one-and-done era; college basketball is hard to watch for me. College football on the other hand with the advent of the spread has made it so; just because you have big corn-fed OL and I don't - you don't necessarily win. This is why some new names have been able to add themselves to the blue blood list.
Every game is exciting; because of the consequences "if you lose"! How many games do they play in basketball? Teams with 10 losses can make the tournament and have a shot and go on a run.

No vision and foresight by the ACC Front office at all; just their narrow opinion on the sport they like the most.

Don't think that's happened yet

You'd have recruits that didn't commit "leaking" it. Just wait, if and when they do say they're leaving ,you're gonna see a Cruitin" Plosion that's never been seen before.
