Sometimes it's easy to forget most of our athletes

Are just student-athletes living the college life and having fun. And with Clemson, we're tops in the nation graduating our wonderful student-athletes. Easy to forget even our fb, bb, and baseball players are kids and have lives. That's all.

Thanks for sharing that and it is very true. Sometimes we think all these players should be dedicated and sold out to their team and their sport. I remember in college I had a lot of divided loyalties and immaturity. I can only imagine having 100,000s of thousands of people critiquing my every move. So, with everyone in life I am reminded to give a little grace. Thanks for the reminder

Players are kids and students, but the ones that choose to COMMIT to the Clemson's, Alabama's, Texas', Notre Dames, and other college blue bloods are held to a higher standard + plus, many of them are being compensated now, which makes them paid athletes. If they want to go to a school for keg stands the night before a game and bong hits pregame, there are plenty others to choose from.

I agree with you, and I expect that, but at the end of the day they still fresh out of high school and with newfound freedom and money in some cases. I am from a different generation and our work ethic and our values our different than many young people now.

Thank you for the pictures and posting. If you are in one that you posted, then I Thank You for your service. Clemson's principals, dedication, and service is second to no one. Despite what some may think or say, our heritage sets us apart. Our university through the years have undeniably helped the world both militarily and agriculturally. As well as many more that have since been added.
Athletically, mostly thru Dabo imo, our athletic coaches have adopted a culture to not only recruit athletes with skills to win but athletes with a certain character and values. We will not sell out just to win.

Are you talking about the original men's picture when it formed? If so, no. If it's something else, then I'm not sure which you are referring.
This post was not intended to be about rowing, or the rowing team. Just thought they were adorable and illiterate a point that I'm 73 and these are little kids to me... just fun.
That said, I do support the rowing team. We seem to be placing better. They work hard.
