That was one of the toughest basketball wins in recent history last night. It was wonderful to watch the team lay it all out there to get that victory. Not only did every player contribute and play their hearts out, they did not let some very poor officiating put them in a funk. If they got down they came back. How many times have we seen a few missed shots or bad turnovers turn into long scoring droughts over the last several years and an eventual loss. But not last night! They maintained their toughness and composure, played tough D, and got critical rebounds, and never lost their shooting confidence. They also overcame a few missed one and ones that would have helped but the bottom line was they gutted through it all in a great win. Props to the players and the coaches.

I don't really know a lot about basketball, but even I could see the officiating stunk. I was beginning to think there was a rule that said, the visiting team is called at a rate of three to one against the home team.

Totally agree. This is the best group we've seen in a while. Really really good veteran back court, excellent big man, and lots of versatile depth. They're going to defend well which is nothing new but they can score inside and outside plus they have Schieffelin doing all the dirty work and contributing whatever is needed.

And YES, the officiating was not only terrible but also extremely one sided.
