Spencer Shuey's safety

may be just what this defense needed from a confidence boost to get that side of the ball fixed!!!

From that point forward it looked like an entirely different defense on the field.

And speaking of adjustments, we gave up 21 in the first half and only 10 in the second. I would have to say the D is getting better and I hope that the safety was the missing piece!!

I agree! They looked like a completely different defense after that. I think they got a lot of it by feeding off the energy of the crowd. The crowd went crazy after that safety.

they had 28 points with 10:58 left in the 3rd quarter after scoring a TD on the first drive of the second half. Had a FG in the 4th, that's it.


Dabo should seriously consider deferring when he wins the toss to receive the 2nd half kick, because the stands are always half empty when the 2nd half starts. The opponent has no crowd noise to worry about on the first drive of the 2nd half.

you watch, someone had the QB, made him pith. Can't remember who it was. D definitely improved. Still give up too many big plays!

because of their unique offense and how it is tough to prepare. They only statistic I look at on that game is if we won or not.

I'm glad we got that crap game out of the way, and I hope the coaches realize how much better they are on defense when Shuey is on the field. Keep Tig and Shuey on the field, and replace Christian with Anthony.
