fun, so I don't expect to learn a whole lot or be able to draw many (if any) conclusions. I will be looking for one thing, however. I will be looking for some sign that we will have a noticably improved downfield passing game. I will be looking for some clear indication that Cade Klubnik has improved and can be the QB that takes us back to the top. I will be looking for WRs that can separate and get open downfield, and QBs that can hit them. I will be looking to see if Vizzina and Pearman are anywhere close to being ready to step in and be the man. I'm excited to see everybody, defense and kickers and all of the new guys etc., but if we aren't making significant improvements in the downfield passing game, none of the other stuff will matter.

IMO that’s been our weakest link for way too long. Hoping the new coach can get that fixed.

Smiling Tiger, don’t forget about the offensive line. Let’s see what Luke has done with those boys this spring.
If Luke has improved the system on the line then Cade should have no issue looking like Trevor Lawrence and the RBs should be as good as CJ Spiller.

Besides the valid points that Smiling Tiger® mentioned, I'm looking for two things as well. I am looking to see what Sammy Brown is like on the field. I will also be looking for the DBs to step up, play close and physical against the WRs and prevent those long passes. With the likes of Nate Wiggins and other seasoned DBs moving on, I want to see what that young group who showed flashes of brilliance last season can do after another offseason of development.

From what I hear, Vizzina has really been pushing him. I don’t know if that’s good. In the past, Lawrence and Watson we undoubtedly the number ones. I know they were generational players, but Cade was the top QB in his class. so far I haven’t seen how

Its without a doubt a good thing as competition will help CK push to the next level or get passed. One of those two things needs to happen if we hope to be elite.

It's the same thing I'm looking at with FSU.
Can the OL run block well enough that the D has to put 7 in the box to stop it? Can the OL pass-pro well enough that Cade has enough time to throw deep?
The offense will largely depend on the Big Uglies.
