When he was healthy, Davis was better. Spiller was a good returner and had amazing speed, but danced too much in the backfield and his career relied on highlight show plays and special teams. We still lost his record setting game vs FSU
In no order...Etienne, Davis, Allen, Priester, Gallman and Ellington

You put any of those RBs on the team in place of Spiller and we lose worse than we did. We didn’t lose games because of CJ. He carried those teams. They just weren’t good enough. Not sure how a TEAM losing takes anything away from CJ. There are some great players on that list of yours but the only player that can even compete with CJs all round capability is ETN.

because there was NO WHERE TO GO...but when he found a crease.....I'm pretty sure nobody in Clemson's history doesn't have near the 50 yard plus runs CJ had.

Most underrated RB ever at Clemson buy our fans. Dude was good and a homerun hitter. We were not a great team during his tenure.
