Just got home from the game

I have not been this pissed off about a basketball loss in a long, long time. Was it stupid to not throw it all the way down the floor? Yea it was pretty d*mn dumb, but can clearly see the ball still on the guy's fingers when the game clock hits zero. What's the point of a buzzer, a horn, a clock, video evidence & referees if it doesn't change the outcome?

The refs would not have reviewed the play

That long if there was doubts. Then when the Pitt player let the ball roll out of bounds and across the line in OT and no whistle was blown, I knew the refs had screwed us. The game should not have went to OT. Oh well, you get use to this if you are not consistently ranked in the top 20 or so in the ACC. Still proud that we finished sixth when the talking heads projected us at 12-14.

I hate this hindsight crap.

What if we throw long, a pitt player intercepts the pass and shoots a long shot that wins the game? Same hindsight nitpicking would occur.

I'd call a timeout and reset but a team shouldn't score 5 it's in 4.4 sec either.
