Switching to streaming -- YouTubeTV or Hulu + LiveTV?

Sep 2, 2023, 9:30 AM

For those switching streaming, here is something to consider. Hulu + LiveTV includes ESPN+ in the cost. This opens up a lot of football games, and other sports, that you might be interested in.

For example, even though I don't care about these games, Georgia and Syracuse play at home. If you want to watch those games with YouTubeTV, you have to log into the ESPN app with your YTTV credentials to watch those games on the ESPN app. With Hulu + LiveTV you get to watch all of the ESPN+ games in the same Hulu TV app as you watch everything else on Live TV.

And next Saturday if you want to watch The Citadel or Coastal Carolina game, you also have to watch that on the ESPN app, but you also have to pay for an additional subscription to ESPN+ to watch those games. With Hulu + LiveTV all of the ESPN+ games are included in the subscription price.

And since Disney owns Hulu, you'll never have to worry about ESPN being cut off.

I've had Hulu +, currently have YoutubeTV. Either work. YouTubeTV was a lot less expensive.

fine but the banner page was always promoting programs in a very in your face way.
I don't want to open an app to see a large pic of guys kissing or strippers on poles.
I found out Hulu was owned by Disney, so I wasn't surprised.

Reason enough to not use Hulu.
