Tailgating Generator

Looking for some suggestions on tailgating generators. How many watts do I need for a 40" TV, Satellite equipment? I know the Honda generators are highly rated and very quite but I'm not looking to spend $1000 on one. Have looked into Westinghouse iGen2200 orthe newer iGen1200. Not sure if the 1000 watts would be enough.

TV and satellite is about 500W. 1000W is fine. Get a Honda!

If that's all you are running, you'd be surprised at how long a marine battery and inverter will last. 8-10 hours at least. Zero noise.

so 1985... buy a jumo box.. some come with AC converters

built in. Much easier to carry and multipurpuse. HEck get 1 with a radio, or pump, light...etc

Go to Northern Tool and by there brand. Half the price of a Honda. Been using one for several years with no problems. And yes it is very quiet.
