Leaving the South Carolina lowcountry , for the First Coast and Yulee . I have loved every little sliver , from Daufuskie to Little River . And though its a bummer , I will not fret ... as I will always return to where my ears got wet .

Ha , all of our boats are named after coasts around the US/world ... I knew that one ...but my first DMT tug was the Gold Coast so I must be having them nostalgias .

Nice touch [just got FM's attention] in naming the boats...

I hail from the sparkling Suncoast, which might explain my shining personality & glowingly optimistic outlook on the world?

We have one of those too ... a Sun Coast . She's an older two decker , model bow . Working on a dredging gig in the Delaware River right now .

If you see Muscoot out on the little river, throw him a rope before he drowns at the Hands of Venables defensive line!

We practice Man-Overboard drills about once a month ... but Muschamp-Overboard drills are something altogether foreign to me and my crew .
Would probably ask if any other vessels in the vicinity could respond first ... if not then I would pull his soggy a$$ out of the water . I'd make him say " Dabo is my Daddy " first though .

No sir , but friends up in Kingsland and Woodbine to golf with . Also , I spent my elementary school and middle school years on Mayport NAS ...so I am somewhat familiar with that area . Have also worked a lot down there on the tug .

Florida's First Coast, or simply the First Coast, is a region of the U.S. state of Florida, located on the Atlantic coast of North Florida. The First Coast refers to the same general area as the "directional" region of Northeast Florida. It roughly comprises the five counties surrounding Jacksonville: Duval, Baker, Clay, Nassau and St. Johns, largely corresponding to the Jacksonville metropolitan area, and may include other nearby areas such as Putnam and Flagler counties in Florida and Camden County, Georgia. The name originated in a marketing campaign in the 1980s, and has since emerged as one of Florida's best known vernacular regions.

Hey Tigerdug. Can you go a little further inland and mention Alachua County, FL. Long. long ago in the 1930's, our high school football team played teams on the East Coast. There was a restaurant in Palatka where we would stop after the game and get a piece of pie and a pint of milk. Outrageous prices !!! Fifteen cents for 1/4 pie and ten cents for the pint of milk. There was no tax and very few quarters but we always found enough quarters so every guy could put his feet under the table and chow down.
