Kinda needing suggestions...
I've had my trusty Taurus G2 for about 4 years, and wanting to add another pistol to the fleet. Was looking at their newer G3, which is the full size 9mm. Also considering a. 380 for the vehicle.
Any recs on best gun shops in murderburg or surrounding areas?
Also, any personal recs that may also own, or have owned, Taurus before?
Srs and semi srss answers preferred, but open to all joungers.

I am not a poor so I have not owned a Taurus.
I'd suggest you find an alley in Murderburg and consult with the locals about said Taurus ownership. I'm sure they can tell you about the times it jammed and the 46" grouping it shoots at 2-3 yards.

So be it, right?
Better to have A gun, than NO gun I suppose.
I've also never had a problem with this gun. Clean and maintain, and it's fine. I bought a used Glock once that I hated, so...

like a Glock.
I have a Sig P365, Glock 45x, Glock 43, Springfield XD9, Sig P320 Endure..and more
Glock is everyday all day.
If you keep them clean, XD9 is the best grouping gun I have.
CCW- P365 never comes out of my car unless on my hip.
Staccato C2 is next

But the Sig P365 you HAVE to shoot it and get your grip right. It was frustrating for me at first but after 400-500 rounds. Dialed in. It’s just so small and light.

I love my Glock, but some people find them tricky to operate and handle, so I get it.

I can't stand a Glock, it doesn't naturally point for me

HK VP9 is the pinnacle of striker fired pistols. Almost infinitely adjustable grips, best stock trigger aside from maybe a Walther, and extremely accurate/reliable.

they've always made solid revolvers at a reasonable price. I've had a couple that passed through my hands over the years and never had an issue with one.

but I have and really like Dan Wesson and CZ pistols. But for a 380, to me my Sig is the best.
You can find them probably most anyplace, but I like going to a place where you can shoot if they have a range - Sharpshooters used to be one of my favorite places.
I got where I bought most either online or at a gun show when looking for CZ's as they were hard to find anywhere.

Nice. Heard about that place and wanted to visit anyway. Was told they rent guns to basically test at their range also. That'd be a positive!

i have bought from palmetto state armory, academy and hinterland outfitters online
palmetto had a great sale on the CZ 75 at year end
the most accurate 9mm that i have is the sig sp2022
the most accurate .380 that i have is the little ruger LCP
i had a taurus 9mm PT92 that failed, a pin sheared off inside, i mailed it to taurus and they repaired it and gave me an extra pin in case it failed again, i could not trust it and sold it to a co-worker that i didnt care for lol

First, is there a Palmetto State Armory near there. If not, check them online. They often have fantastic deals.
Are you looking for concealed or just something at the house? I recently purchased a Smith & Wesson 9mm Shield 2.0 and love it. It's a great concealed piece if you need it. My next is going to be a Sig M17 9mm as I've shot my friends' ones at the range and love the handling and accuracy. Tried one last weekend with a red dot sight on it and it was near perfect accuracy. Very fun to shoot and handles well. I wouldn't recommend it for concealed.
So those are my 9mm recs.
Side note, my buddy brought his .44 Magnum (Dirty Harry) to the range and pulled that out. It was a beast to shoot, and when he fired his first few rounds, people in the lanes next to him stopped to go "W T F is that?" I was a little surprised I could hit the target somewhat accurately with that monster.
But yeah, don't buy that.
