Game rushing record. His performance came when everyone knew that he was absolutely all the offense we had, the box was loaded and everyone was keying on him.

But, let's also not forget some notable others. Homer Jordan was so dehydrated after leading the Tigers to that first Natty in 1981, he had to be given an IV in the locker room, per history. That, too, is giving all you have for your team.

CJ would get even more credit, I believe, in history if we had actually WON that game on the field. We SHOULD be the ACC Champions for that year, as the title was later stripped from GT.

“Great moments” in Tiger football but one of my favorites performances was Boyd’s comeback game in Atlanta against LSU! That game started the ball rolling for the Tigers. Agree?
