Thats game. Iowa blew it at the end of the 1st half

With Cardoso on the bench and Iowa leading 41-37, they had the chance to grow the lead with the SC best player sitting.
Instead they can’t collect a rebound and make a few dumb mistakes to let SC go on a 12-5 run to end the half. Don’t see Iowa coming back now

Who are the villains? I can guess what type of person you are. Anyway, congrats SC Gamecocks! I'm a Clemson fan but I do like the Lady Gamecocks. Unlike you corndogs, I support the teams in my home state.

Not really …… Iowa was not going to win this game withh or without Cardosa in the game. Watkins and Kitt will have still dominated the boards and Scar’s bench out scoring Iowa’s 38 - 0 there was no avenue to Iowa to win.

I haven't watched women's basketball before this season, not even our Lady Tigers.
But one thing that stood out to me was the in-game adjustmentts. Bluder (Iowa's coach) had an outstanding gameplan going into the first quarter. Staley, made the right adjustments after their first timeout. Usuck mixed man and zone defenses furing multiple runs and caused a ton of confusion for Iowa's off the ball screens.
The dagger though, Clark went cold after the first quarter and ended up 13-28. While most people are head over heals for her, Gabby Marshall kept Iowa in the game with her defense.
Iowa just couldn't match Usuck's size and length. Even with Cardoso on the bench, Watkins still had the length advantage over Stuelke (may fav Iowa player) and Hannah couldn't get buckets to fall.
It was NCSt vs Purdue all over again.
Uconn vs Purdue is going to be an intresting matchup. Both are big and have grest post play. I give Purdue a slight edge in this one, 66-62.
But....And I will admit, I do not care for Brownell, I am dang proud of our men's team and how the played. Knocking off Zona and Baylor (grandfather's alum), those were pinnacle moments.
I truly wasn't a big fan of college basketball, men or women's, until this year, but I am going to be an avid fan moving forward. Even named my in-game character (path of exile) "IronScheiffelin".
