SOS never matters as far as Alabama or Ohio State are concerned. Heck, they can even fail to win their division and still be National Champions. SOS never has and never will help us in any way.

Good SOS got us a 2 seed in 2016 ahead of 2 other 1 loss teams and 1 seed in 2017 ahead of 3.

Because if you have a good strength of schedule... you have cushion.

If given the choice of good strength of schedule.... and not one.... I choose the former.
