Can someone explain to me why the Georgia Tech band was allowed to sit on the lower deck? I thought Neff said they were moving the visiting bands to the upper deck before the season started.

Good question! I saw they were in section W. I just bought tickets for that section for UNC game and sure as h e l l don’t want to sit next to the UNC band!
Anyone know the answer to this?

We don’t tell the other team where to put their band. They have 500 seats in the lower deck and 1500 in the upper. They can do whatever they want with the seats.
That’s what Neff said.
GaTech chose to put their band in their regular spot. FSU ran around lying and crying and left their band at home.

That is also my understanding Noodle. FSU could have put the Marching Chiefs in the same spot. I loved having the GT band there today because it seemed like a college football game. I hope that IPTAY always looks out for Tiger Band and their seating at away games.

My guess is that sat in the lower deck because they were part of the halftime show.

csctiger, VA Tech has participated in our Veterans Day salute in the past. They too were/are a military based university.
