It's more like this, a bunch of drama queens and princesses.
1) Bama has 2 losses and ZERO quality wins. Their beating of Ol' Mess was another fantasy story. Then not even able to cover against Austin-Pee Pee
2) UGA the Queen of all the princesses. Apart from struggling with nearly everyone they play away from the State of Georgia they are decent
3) TAMU was a princess for a week, then turned back into a frog. Complete waste of 5 star talent.
4) LSU another children's story. Beat by a little Ol'ACC team
5) Tennessee Oh boy they beat Bama another overrated actor and then give up 60+ points to rotten USUCK
The list goes on and on and on. The inbreeding and overrating of run of the mill SEC teams that just keep the circle of life of SEC poll stagflation going is right on ###### for a fictional Disney movie.
I would content the SEC is no worse and possibly a touch better than any other P5 conference now. NIL and Portal are eroding the SEC in many ways.

I’ll start by saying I agree with you that I think the $EC is highly overrated this year and pretty regularly when you are taking about the whole conference. I don’t buy into the myth that Bama was just that good and completely dominated a conference that is SO much better than every other. We’ve proven that wrong 3 times (yes I am counting 2015 because we should have won that game).
HOWEVER - how many teams have won a national title since 2006 that are not in the $EC? 3!! So until some teams not in the $EC begin beating them on a regular basis aside from those 3 it’s hard to call their best teams overrated or run of the mill. Sure, they get huge advantages in the rankings but bottom line is their top teams win. Time for other teams to end that if they want to stop hearing it.

the entire conference as a whole is over rated....See Kentucky, A&M, Tenn,........ Why because of the Size of the fanbases and TV $$$$$$

CASDM9901 I agree! Basically what you said, "to be the man you have to beat the man"! However, with that logic in play my question is why does the ACC not get the runner up trophy? Instead of the lowsy Big 10. Since 2000 more "current ACC teams" have played for or won a National Championship than the Big 10. Ohio State has won it twice in that span ( 02 and 14). While, VT(00), Miami - (01 - won it, 02 - played for it), FSU(13) and Clemson(15,16,18,19).
Yet, the people who listen to the talking head on their TV weekly/daily is brainwashed into believing the Big 10, Big 12 and Pac 12 are on par! How?
Pac 12 ha Southern Cal twice in that span!
Big 12 has Texas(05) and Oklahoma(03) in that span!
I don't buy and Yes, give the SEC it's flowers! But, 100% it is only about the teams at the very top of that conference.
The way they overrate teams keeps them there and keeps them in the hunt every year! As well as being in very good recruiting grounds. Credit to the top! Not as much to say the least to the whole.

When the fellow in the bully pulpit has the votes and earns the $$$ then everyone else is at their disposal...anyone in the SEC that Clemson should fear if we had a real QB or even the one we have...Jawja & Bama may still be the real deal but the others are all suspect...Finebum should have a field putting lipstick on those pigs...can you imagine the lack of talent when Vandy actually looks pretty good!...don't know why I sometimes feel sorry for Dumbo Fishnet!
