Bama took 5 guys in the portal this year. Seemed to work.
UGA took 1 guy in the portal this year. Seemed to work.

The portal is one tool in the tool box. You use it when it will help you get the job done. You leave it in the box when another tool will work better.

Exactly strong teams just add a missing piece. Loading up with portal players is the same as juco players. Hopefully soon these high school kids if they come to Clemson trusting the process will allow them to be developed not replaced

Any body have a stat on how many players Bama lost to either the portal or pulling scholarships? That would be interesting to see as well.

Your request is my command. They gained 5 and lost 26. But, that stat is very misleading. Most of those 26 never took a snap. In quality, they gained more than they lost.
