How are tv ratings measured nowadays? I assume it's through the tv itself, but do you have to be on the particular program/event a certain amount of time to be counted or is it just a snapshot in time deal?

Also to your point, I would have preferred atrocious ratings, but hopefully at least more fans are becoming aware just how royally screwed up the sport of college football has become.

We are on the Nielsen Ratings and they call us to see what programs we watch. Get calls weekly and also get paid. Didn’t sign up for it, as they contacted me and I agreed so don’t know if they have some way of knowing without calling. Each survey is a little lengthy. As long as they pay I don’t care.

Not necessarily so...if they even turned on for one second that is a viewer...doubt if anyone watched it for very long...nobody likes to watch a face down ash whooping from a bunch of opt out quitters... Norvell is wrong...quitting is what they are to be remembered for...a bought team paid a dividend!

Well, I did watch it for a short while, then I turned the channel to Walker, Texas Ranger so I could see someone new get beat up.
