That is just stupid. One of your expansion teams, Miami or Pitt, will be no worse than tied for 1st and the other will be no worse than tied for 3rd.

FSU and GT as expansion team for arguments sake. And I'd say that really only Syracuse and Louisville...and I gues ND were brought in to boost basketball. BC and VT not so much. And 2 of the top 3 are expansion teams (only one probably added with the appearance to help basketball).

That's the problem. Swoffie brought them in to help basketball instead of worrying about football. He listened to Roy Boy and Coach K I guess. Their dream of a mega basketball conference has been squashed.
