Yesterday I was hoping Ben could manage a Top 5 finish . . His -2 today did just that!!! Well done Ben . . .

I went to a lot of the Masters tournament's from the late 70's to the mid 90's,have not been since though and miss it a whole lot

Was hoping Ben was going to give those top 2 a run for their money but a top 5 is very, very good. He needed a great finish and will hopefully help his confidence going forward.

Chris Kirk. He went to high school with my eldest. I was pulling for Ben, but Chris was my second pick...so can't complain.
Ben is getting ever so close. It will happen.

When Chris Kirk's parents recently moved to Lake Lanier from Woodstock last year, they unloaded a ton of his swag. I have some neat stuff including his hat from the Palmer Cup and personalized sponsor gear. His parents are really nice people and I was pulling hard for Chris to get a win. I DID NOT keep the disgusting signed poster from the UGA National Championship team with Kirk, Todd, and Kisner but that was a heck of a college team.

It was a good tournament. Glad they had Jack on air instead of you know who but it was his tournament. It will no longer be sponsored by Honda but Jack said it will be back next year with a new sponsor.
