The only thing I am getting out of watching this Pitt

Tarhole game is this. Not only do I not know what targeting is, apparently I have also forgot what pass interference is. Cause I was sure I had seen both those things at least a couple times in this game, but no, I was mistaken.

No, it has nothing to do with what you know, or forgot .It does however come down to the one thing you need to know going forward;
IF THE REFEREE DOES NOT CALL IT,THEN IT DIDN'T HAPPEN.
Doesn't matter if they have to take a player off the field after a violent helmet to helmet hit, or if one player actually takes a player to the ground ,it is not a penalty unless the referee throws the flag.

the UNC QB that actually whiplashed his head backwards from helmet to helmet contact. The Replay Booth actually initiated a timeout review to finally announce that no, nothing to see here, no targeting.

Now, I am certainly not a fan of the targeting rule. But, if the rule is there, then doggone it, it should be called, and called fairly. The disparity between how it is interpreted from hit to hit is what sours me on the rule altogether.

I didn't even mention holding, as you said. Some of our guys were literally getting tackled in the early part of the Pitt game, and holding was never called until Pitt had a good enough lead for it not to matter.

Can’t believe we lost to Pitt. So many opportunities lost especially in first half to score on them.
