Social media "influencers" are at the mercy of Google, and "people", and one little slip, even one they can't recognize, and boom, livelihood gone. All these kids growing up who want to be social media influencers, are going to be in for a rude awakening. They do not know how tenuous, temporary, and expendable those jobs can be. One drunken text, one skinny dipping session, one joint smoked, one slip of a word, and boom, it's all gone. If you push papers in a cubicle all day long, and no one knows you, you keep that job. But when millions know you, and know your wealth, it's a very dangerous job that usually never last a "career".
