Because I like stats that make me feel better

The best D1 pass defenses Sidham has faced is Oklahoma - Ranked 33rd in 2015. He was 16/27, 257 yds., 2 TD and 2 Int. He ran for 7 yds on 10 carries and he had his lowest QB rating He (Baylor) lost that game
The other defenses he has played against were
West Va. - 83rd SMU - 89th Ok. St. - 95th Rice - 102nd Iowa St. - 112th Texas Tech. - 113th Kansas St. - 121st Kansas - 124th
He also played against Lamar in 2015 and whoever he played against last week.
Might mean nothing, but I can't imagine he's seen a better pass rush, overall defense and coaching staff than he'll see Saturday. And yes Homers, that includes in Auburn's practices.
My two cents.
Go Tigers!

Since you pointed out stats from the best team (Oklahoma) .... please watch this video. The Oklahoma game starts at the 2:40 mark. I like actually footage to go along with stats. ALso, one of this picks was a Hail Mary out of desperation ...
Notice along with his highlights the score ..... Stidham kept Baylor in the game all the way to the end of the 4th Qtr ... They lost because they had the WORST defense in the Big12.
This video is a good indicator of what you'll see Saturday. He won't have a defense full of 2 and 3 star players. He won't have 2 and 3 stars blocking for him.
Insert 5 and 4* players across the board. We ran 7 plays Saturday. This Saturday, you'll be introduced to the real AUBURN TIGERS.
Sorry, I didn't mean to blow up your stats with real info and actual footage ...

So, his stats weren't real info?
Bud, he's never, I'll say again never, ever seen a defense like he will on Saturday. He's also never seen a crowd like he will on Saturday.
I don't care what stars your O-Line has they had issues with Ga Southern and buddy, we got one of the top D-Lines in the country (before you say it, I don't care about the Rivals rankings of the players).

I usually don't feed the trolls but it seems that you, Mr. Auburnfan (assume you are a Mr), seem to believe that high school recruiting rankings matter when it comes to actual performance in a college game. You do understand these paper recruit rankings are based on high school level play that are derived by sports sites and sports writers - half of which are blowhards that never played a down of college football in their lives. But if these rankings allow you sleep better at night then by all means sleep well.
I suggest that you consider real world college results instead of an opinionated star ranking system that ultimately doesn't mean crap when it comes to on-field college performance. So, based on real world results - do you believe that Auburn's current defense is any better than the two Alabama defenses Clemson has faced in the last two years? I think most clear eyed folks would answer that with a "no". I understand you probably don't want to give your hated rival that kind of credit so I'll go along with your delusion and consider high school recruit rankings. According to almost every major sports publication, Alabama has had the number one ranked recruiting class for seven years running. Even by your cherished "star measure", Clemson has already faced more former 4 and 5 star recruits at every position on those Alabama teams than Auburn has on their entire roster. Furthermore, Clemson faced those Alabama defenses (who most sports pundits proclaimed "the best defense in college football") with essentially the same Clemson offensive line that will be playing Auburn Saturday night. In short - Clemson wasn't scared of Alabama and we darn sure ain't scared of Auburn.
Now before you get your dander up - I'm not discounting Auburn's talented defense. You guys will present a challenge (maybe the toughest we face during the entire regular season) and I'm quite sure Auburn will get their share of hard licks and defensive stops. Most clear eyed Clemson fans understand this game is not going to be a walk in the park and we have to bring our "A" game in order to win. I also understand that you have some strange need to come to a Clemson board desperate to argue worthless high school recruit rankings in some weird attempt to validate your teams chances of winning Saturday night. Make no mistake, Clemson is an extremely talented and well coached team that can beat any college team in the country regardless of their recruit star rankings, including the second best team from the state of Alabama...

We just need to ignore this auburn guy. In another thread he was telling everyone that auburn completely revamped their offense but because they wanted to hide it from Clemson they ran old blocking schemes, plays, and even let Gus call the plays. That makes no #### sense.
I can promise you the last thing auburn wants to be doing is breaking in a new scheme that they haven't ran at all in a real game against Clemsons defense. You'll see Saturday. A lot of the pundits thought Mayfield would torch us too.

Here's a few explanations and clarifications for you AUfan

I pointed out the OK game specifically because it was his toughest opponent, it was a loss and it was the closest he has come (but not really close) to playing against a defense on our level
Feel free to correct me on this one, but I think he's only played significant minutes in about 4 games in the last three years
The "fact" you present is that Baylor had the "WORST defense in the BIG12.
Here's the Total Defense Rankings from 2015 for a few relevant schools
128th - Kansas 127th - TTech 119th - SMU 108th - Iowas St 106th - Kansas St 103rd - Rice 100 - Ok St 71st - Auburn (Wut? Couldn't be with all those 4 and 5 stars) 61st - Baylor - Not exactly the "WORST"
As to your video, the thing I take from it is that he won't be wearing that orange jersey on Saturday. When he doesn't see anybody down field, he won't be able to trot out of the pocket without repercussions, and he won't have defenders jogging towards him without malicious intent.
Come to think of it, he may be wearing orange jerseys all night long.
Go Tigers!

I think I has the confuse. Yes. I definitely has the confuse.
Maybe he will share Stidham's high school reel. Surely those would be actual game footage.
