Named Bama really have taken on the feel of a big Thanksgiving dinner where the teens and tweens who are pissed off at being seated at the kids table try to have their yappy voice heard. Unless Maamah or Papah set your plate at the grown-up table, you are to keep your suck shut until you have earned the right to talk to the grown ups. Go back to the Coot or UGA board and eat your Jello salad.

As the oldest grandchild, I was stuck at the kids table until Aunt Eudelvia passed freeing up a seat for me when I was 20.

Luv me some jello salad tho

I remember the first thanksgiving I got to sit at the adult table. It felt amazing ??.

It must feel terrible getting to sit at the table for one year and then having to go back to the kids table…
