The truth about 10.

Oct 20, 2013, 12:17 PM

He's an average QB with above average talent. He tends to rely on his physical gifts rather what he has been taught. Morris is a great play caller and he gives 10 the options of audible when see fit. The problem with this is when he does audible he looks for the big play instead of dumping down and letting receivers earn RAC. Ive been saying this for 3 years now and i fear for those no. 10 riders because Stoudt is going to listen to Morris and dump and pump all day. Boyd will remain the starter but everyone will see the real TRUTH in a Morris ran offense. Its about taking advantage of what the defense gives you, with an occasional pump down field. If ran correctly its like a rhino versus a lion. You can hurt it a bit but its goings to run all over you and leave permanent scars.

Boyd didn't have a great game last night, but there were a ton of dropped passes.

Pain killer comes in a variety of forms, either of which will work.

Tajh Boyd is an excellent QB and you guys are lucky to have him and I wish he had ended up in Blacksburg. Granted, I may be biased as he went to the same high school as me (a few years after I did), but you guys have one of the 5-10 best QBs in the nation at the VERY worst. He had a horrible game last night obviously, but that happens to every QB. Even the very best.

You guys are still well on the way to a 10-2 or 11-1 type season. It would be surprising if you guys weren't top 15 at the end of the year and you have a very good chance to end up in the top 10 (and with the right breaks, top 5).

FSU is on another level and last night was their coming out party so to speak. I dno't mean on another level from you guys... I mean on another level in the ACC and in the rest of the country. Up until now, it was all about Alabama and Oregon. FSU just legitimately asked... what about us
