I wouldn’t be surprised if Clemson makes it to the Sweet Sixteen. The streakiness of our play could put us in position to be a 7 seed and have a big upset over a 2 seed. Though it would be just as natural for us to lose big as a 6 seed to an 11 seed.

Admittedly, I think that the Boston College loss was probably our worst overall performance for the year which is unfortunate to see. I think the old Doris Day song Que Sera Sera pretty much sums up my expectations for Clemson basketball. I’d love to see them win but in following them for nearly four decades they’ve never been seeded higher than four in the Big Dance. I would think that until we can get at least two superstars with very solid players in the mix with them, what we’ve seen in the past is what Clemson will mostly be in the future.

Best game I ever attended for Clemson basketball was the 89-90 season against Duke. Crazy energy in Littlejohn that night. I had to sit upper level at the top of the stairs to watch but it was awesome being there. Huge win!

Two superstars? Like Mike and Kobe on the same team?

IMO we had two of the biggest stars Clemson could reastically ever imagine on the same team this year with Hall and Girard. We blew it!

I've been following Clemson bball since early 90s. Pj Hall is one of the Clemson all time greats. Girard is in the ACC record books.

80% of Division I schools never get this set up and 90% may only get it every 15 years or so.

The year was fumbled.
