And we dished out 1/3 of those. We shoulda been number 1.

Also, penn st hasn't beaten anyone good at all. And southern cal definately isn't 5. That's silly.

Not only that but has any other Power 5 team played 2 ranked opponents in the first 3 weeks like the Tigers have?

If they couldn't rank us pre-season #1 as the current champs, they have no excuses now.

As it should be to a certain extent. Losing to the #2 team shouldn't drop you. I understand you see that as a means to moving Clemson to #1 but this may be the first year that multiple conference championship games have CFP implications. (Least of which will be ACCCG). Nothing more meaningless right now than rankings (weeks 1 - 11).

Things will flush out for Big 12 (OK at OK State), Big 10 (Penn St vs Michigan, then at Ohio State) and possible USC vs Washington in Pac 12. Mind you Clemson will go to a possible top 10 VT in a couple weeks, and will play a FSU team with a QB that has some games under his belt. Lot of season left.

Happy to be a fan of college football myself. Should be fun!
