Being a reason for ND loss. I know some players were out, but atvthisnpointbin the season, why is practice so crucial other than SHOOTING PRACTICE, which we obviously did little of?

Of course that was AI and he did not need practice, just give him a basketball and watch the show. We do not have that at Clemson, nobody has that anywhere honestly lol!!!

If this is really an issue, we should be wearing out Godfrey, Beadle, and D. Hunter every game so the starters can get some rest.

You do know that a lot goes on in practice in terms of game prep, right?

It's laughable that you imagine practice as just practicing dribbling and shooting.

Yeah. I listened to some of the radio show “The Pressbox” this morning and I believe it was Brad criticizing texters who was criticizing Coach for allowing Hall and others to keep shooting 3s which had a big impact of them losing the game.

There are no excuses for losing to a bad Notre Dame team...

It's also not the first time this team has pi$$ed-away a game they absolutely should have won (e.g., Miami, Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, North Carolina State and now Notre Dame). I won't even get into the UVa and Duke games. Every team occasionally loses games they shouldn't, but this has been an all too common occurrence under CBB. If you just win three of those five, you're sitting at 23-6 (13-5) right now, you're firmly in the Dance probably as a 4 seed, sitting in 3rd place in the conference standings with a double bye in the ACCT which allows players to get some extra rest.

Do we have a team urologist? Seems we should have one at times.

Practice should be crucial at this point in this season for all the bench players that need to be called upon due to all these injuries - but we don’t seem to be utilizing them. Just supposedly playing hurt players but as long as they don’t play too hard it’s fine. It’s just the usual crazy bunch of nonsense that’s really just about trolling our basketball fans and making fun of how absurd the how Brownell experiment has become. “If a mediocre mid-major coach is allowed to coach for 14 seasons in the ACC will osmosis make him a good coach?” Answer: No.

You "obviously" have never played basketball before. Shots that bounce on the rim and go in today may bounce off the rim and miss tomorrow. Anyone with a college scholarship knows how to shoot but sometimes as they say on tv, the iron is unkind.

That’s why most average 50% free throw shooting. It’s all chance.

Maybe you don’t know this about pulse but sometimes you get a thumbs up, sometimes a thumbs downs. Sometimes the reader is in a good mood, sometimes not. It’s pretty much just chance.

Some of us have played and coached at SOME level for many years - in ANY league it is bad coaching (and being a bad teammate IMO) when your center goes 6-9 from 2 and 2-10 from 3. Should rarely, if EVER happen and after watching at least a bit of the same a couple times this year, was inexcusable vs a smaller ND team (made smaller still by fouling out one of, if not MAIN, big man).
Love PJ, glad he stayed - he is one of the best all-around players we have had and maybe he leads us to a memorable finish, including a string of 3s, but Saturday night should not have happened and he, his coach and perhaps some of his teammates needed to ensure he got back down low, dominated and stretched out a bit of a lead before the last 4-5 misses from 3. Knucklehead play that should not exist from a first team All ACC player.
Hoping Jack Clark return will be helpful to ensure a better run to end year, with post play being better emphasized - have said from near start of year (despite some intermediate success from PJ and Chase) that Girard should get nearly all 3s we attempt, with Chauncey getting at least a couple attempts a game with each hit earning another. I'd rather just about everyone else to take a second 3 only after they've hit the open first they were dared to take.
Feed that post! (Then be quick with pass out to JG3 when they begin to double)
Despite 4-5 unnecessary losses, they STILL could be one of most successful tourney teams in school history if they play their best (which really just takes a bit smarter play and better focus)
Go Tigers!

game at a higher level you know that scouting and in practice prep post scouting is just as important in basketball as football. A single b-ball practice miss before an away game is pretty damning though I understand the Brownell is the anti-Christ crowd sentiment.
