all over the Twitterverse about our leaving the ACC.....the coots are getting very, very nervous. Something must actually be happening.

They know they’ll be in some serious trouble, the only advantage they’ve ever had was conference money. It’s also going to open up an avenue to players who we could’ve had but only wanted to play in the SEC

It’s no different than the rumors from a few months ago that something was imminent whether that meant joining the B1G or otherwise.
Those rumors arose from a single source whose luke warm take was parroted creating one massive internet circle jerk.
This appears to be the same kind of party. A single source and everyone parroting.
And if we go to that single source, we hear “sooner than later”..so then some jack wad parrots that statement but throws in “October” since it is sooner.
I hate the interwebs sometimes.

Are you in favor of leaving the ACC? I buy some of your logic, but it really sounds as if you just don’t want this to be true.
Conversely I may be similarly guilty of projecting my wishes onto my take on this, but I sure as heck would like for CU to get out ASAP, so I am believing, ######!

Why would the coots be in such a tizzy? I don't get it. Wouldn't they want to "own us" in the same conference? Or are they afraid the more revenue would boost our program?

My source, crystal ball, tells me that the SEC is getting rid of teat suckers, USUK and Vandy so as to add Clemson and FSU. That is why Usuck is in a tissy.

That's the only "advantage" they have over us----$$$$$. And maybe "we're in the SEC" mantra from a recruiting standpoint, but I'm not sure how much that ultimately plays into a player's decsion on which program to choose.

Disclaimer: This guy likes to talk about conference realignment. I listened to his videos last Spring. He is not one of the guys I go to as someone I think might actually have inside information. He tends to see a report and then spend a hour on a podcast jsut spouting possibilities and speculation.
But, with that said, I would love for the rumor to be correct.
Lost of variations. But all include FSU, Clemson, UNC, and NC ST are all leaving for the B1G or SEC. You can find a rumor somewhere that has each of the schools listed to each of the conferences.

He had prior knowledge of USC to the B1G due to his association or friendship with a big time Minnesota booster. There was a story about him in the LA Times. He parlayed that into what he does now. I just dont think he has any real information about anything anymore. He knows realignment is big so thats what he talks about.
