It would have been perceived as heartfelt had he immediately done so and not waited until even his replacement had been entrenched for several days. He’s obviously been feeling the heat from everyone outside of ok since he left.

I still wish him well but Clemson has moved on and so has he.

in the 2023 class that he previously recruited for Clemson but has now contacted and started to recruit for ok are rumored to be put off by the way he handled the situation.

Agree. And it might have only been done at all for the recruiting purposes if your second post is accurate. Better not to have written it at all than this late. I think his first “ thank you” was probably his true feeling.
