The discussion was started when some idiot on our board suggested that Dabo stabbed Tommy Bowden in the back and got him fired.

I assured them that nothing could be further from the truth. Then someone posted this link. Y'all are probably familiar with the story. (Note, the link if from 2018.)

Man where did the fun and jovial Dabo go? He's alot more serious now and straight to the point.

Ultimately there's no other coach better suited to lead the young men on the Clemson football team.

I posted on my FSU board that Tommy and Bobby both talked to Dabo and assured them the entire Bowden family was fully supporting him and no one believed any of the noise that Dabo might have been involved in Tommy's firing. I remember reading an article not long after Dabo was named interim where Dabo said how much he was encouraged by Bobby talking to him and encouraging him.

was Bobby by Jimbo crying about leaving if something didn't happen. Bobby should have had a FULL Farewell Season.He DESERVED that,without him,there is no FSU Football

So according to the article Dabo would have eventually taken over as OC at Bama. That explains him meddling in the play calling.

There are lot of success stories but has 1 common theme - life is about timing and being in right place at right time. Applies to each of us and our life stories :)
