January 4, 2016: No less than a week after committing 4* WR Cavin Ridley reverses his decision and ends up at Georgia.

January 13, 2016: #19 South Carowhina loses ugly 50-73 at Alabama.

January 15, 2016: Former gamecock James Hutton arrested on felony charges of burglary, second-degree assault and battery and carjacking. Simply put he beat up a cab driver, stole his car, broke into ex-girlfriends sister's house, hit a 70 year-old man and was found in a nearby marsh. This marks the third consecutive year he's made this list.

February 1, 2016: DE Jacoby Hill spurns uscJr for Memphis. “The conversation me and Coach Muschamp had on the way out changed my decision for USC,” Hill said.

February 20, 2016: Al Harris Jr. and David Johnson kicked off the football team.

March 5, 2016: Clemson beats uscJr. 5-0 at Fluor Field to set up a decisive game 3 on Sunday.

March 6, 2016: Clemson downs the gamecawks 4-1 to win the game and the series.

March 11, 2016: One and done in the SEC basketball tournament as kewts lose 64-65 to Georgia.

March 15, 2016: Two hours before tip off, 2 gamecock hoopsters were arrested on assault for shooting a BB pellet gun at an occupied car. Eric Cobb and Jamall Gregory were charged for property damage in connection with the shootings and taken to a Columbia jail.

March 15, 2016: Former USCjr teacher arrested and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and improper disposal of waste. John Allen Hancock IV and his sister, who was charged for the same offenses, turned themselves in Tuesday morning following the bust of a methamphetamine manufacturing operation.

March 19, 2016: OL Viktor Beach names south carowhina his leader only to sign with Purdue.

March 21, 2016: Gamecocks get blown out at home by Georgia Tech 66-88 in the second round of the NIT in front of a 'reported crowd' of 2,856. Sad.

March 26, 2016: Slam! Keith Allsep's article gets roasted when he annoints Jake Bentley as a stud QB.

April 13, 2016: Basketball played Raymond Dobby was arrested for possession of marijuana after a Lexington County officer spotted him driving in the opposing lane of traffic. Two other players, Eric Cobb and Jamall Gregory were also in the car at the time of the traffic stop.

June 2, 2016: Former soccer coach Robert Molinary Jr. pleads guilty to child #### charge. Molinary made “friends” with more than 1,550 minors and participated in almost 9,000 emails with minor females when obtaining the pictures and videos. He is facing up to 120 months in Federal prison and a lifetime of probation.

June 2, 2016: “I think a huge strength of ours is the city of Columbia,” Muschamp told a crowd of USC fans, according to AL.com. “The diversity, the culture that we have, there actually is a town where our college is. You ever been to Auburn? There’s so much to sell in Columbia."

September 10, 2016: 'Hold my beer, watch this.' Gamecocks take one on the chin compliments of Mississippi State 27-14. That stout Muschamp defense gave up 485 total yards.

September 17, 2016: Defensive wizard? Not hardly. Cusschamps defense gives up 22 receptions to one player, ECU's Zay Jones. One off an NCAA record 23 receptions in one game. Tell me again how great of a defensive coach he is...

September 24, 2016: Gamecocks lose to Kentucky in football, again. They gave up 23 first downs and over 350 yards.

October 4, 2016: WR Shawn Smith decommits from south carowhina.“I’m really hurt at this time at how they handled this situation with Shawn." said coach Larry Harold. "He graduates in December and now we’re going to have to scramble to try to find another school for him to go to. He’s a great kid and he did what he was supposed to do."

October 10, 2016: Gamecocks fall to Georgia 28-14 as the Dawgs only need 29 passing yards to win. Two Bulldogs rush for over 100 yards and another had over 80. Tell me again about that Muschump defense.

October 10, 2016: Lamecocks lose on the field and lose a commit all in one day. OL T.J. Moore decommits from uscJr.

October 18, 2016: Uh oh, Brandon McIlwain's mom is mad that Bentley is now starting. Mawma's mad! "He also did not have a very strong supporting cast as South Carolina has struggled at every position on offense this season with the exception of the tight ends in the passing game. "

October 23, 2016: Freshman basketball player Rakym Felder was tased and arrested in 5 points around 1:30 AM for disorderly/public disorderly conduct, assault/simple assault and battery, resisting arrest, fail to stop on police command, pedestrian on controlled access highway and use of another’s or altered license or identification card.

December 4, 2016: Former 'savior QB' Lorenzo Nunez to transfer out of the program. I thought they said he was going to be their Watson? SMH.

December 14, 2016: After being kicked out of Clemson for drug charges, former JUCO athlete Kaleb Chalmers is set to enroll at South Carolina.
