carries a lot of weight on it's shoulders. The media is not on our side. If we're going to be able to win and get players in the NFL with our current formula we have to prove it this year. It's totally fine with not using the transfer portal and hiring your buddies and ex-players with no significant college coaching experience as long as it's working. As soon as it's not working anymore, you've proven all the talking head right and the recruits are going to notice. We're already starting to show signs of it not working with 4 and 5 star recruits. If recruiting starts dropping off, it's going to get worse ... much worse. I hope this team can find a way to pull together and dominate going forward.

Check our commits on the Rivals site and you will see we have commitments from 14 players that are 4* so I don't see how you can call that not working out.

and it's been working the last 3 or 4 years but the production has decreased. Eventually if you start having less and less success winning and getting guys into the NFL (and now getting guys $ in this new world we live in) the recruiting that is "working" right now will not be working for long.

We had all of them before losing to Duke. I think he is talking about recruiting going forward and also hanging on to the ones we have.
