Tiger Baseball

A few glaring issues. First off, every time a ball is hit I cringe because I don't know if we are going to make an amazing play or flub it and make an error. Second, our pitching.....yes we had good pitching at moments of the series but there were times where we couldn't throw first pitch strikes and walked too many people. Also, our coaching staff left pitchers in there WAY too long. Finally, we are not opportunistic. There were too many times especially in game 1 and 2 where we left too many runs and opportunities on the bases. Since carolina has gone on their nice baseball run they have done 3 things: pitch well enough to win (dynamite bullpen), play great defense, take advantage of any opportunity they are given. Hope to see Clemson get to that point. GO TIGERS!

USC rarely, if ever, beats themselves with errors. Typically, if you hit a ball at their middle infield, the best you can hope for is that he can't pull it out of his glove and you get on first. You rarely see them let one get to the outfield if it's in reach. We, however, are not so sure handed. If we could atleast just knock the ball down so it doesn't roll to the OF, we'd save our selves a lot of trouble.

.....as our coach. He has alienated the high school coaches and a significant number of former CLEMSON BASEBALL PLAYERS. While jacko has been recruiting the great northwest, and God knows his affinity for the northeast, we have been getting very few great baseball players--athletes maybe, but not BASEBALL PLAYERS. Good gosh man, all jacko needs is a #### moped to recruit GREAT BASEBALL PLAYERS TO CLEMSON!!
