Just what the Doctor ordered.....glaring problems remain but maybe winning without some starters sends a message. GREAT to see XT making his presence known! Let's celebrate this one with our first win against a legit team this year even though we had a bad second half - we hund in there and indeed won one for the DABBER...Go Tigers -let's get as many more as we can this year and give those young guys some work!

The best news was even despite two turnovers and some questionable third quarter play calling the Tigers still found a way to win. Whatever that “way is” is what we have been missing all year. The will to win the game. Great game! Also appreciated that Dabo was seemingly back to his old self which was good to see.

Our faster, smaller and smarter offensive line made all the difference today and Mahfa showed why he should be starting. No penalties is just amazing.

We have some great players for whom this is their last season, but the future is bright. Unless I am mistaken, we will have 2 more years with Klubnik. We have a great freshman class. The OL has been challenged and came up big against a tough opponent, and most of them will be back. We have a few proven receivers, but we need some of our young guys to really improve and this team will be in the hunt next year.

Maybe some of those missing starters shouldn’t be starting. Give the “second string” guys a chance. They might actually now be better, or at least play smarter than the “first string “ guys.
