Thought we were done with defense, and especially with DB's... Except with safety. Does this mean we think someone isn't going to commit or maybe decommit. Rumors with Webb? Weren't we thinking of using him as a DB.

That it was leaked he and a Penn ST commit were going to the Miami cookout and how, if true goes against Dabo's rules of visiting other schools. There were a couple threads earlier talking about it.

Webb has no reason to decommit, I’d assume that this is a precautionary offer in the event that Damari Brown commits elsewhere (which is entirely possible). Plus Webb will play Safety along with, hopefully, Rob Billings

replacement. The staff does want Brown but just isn't willing to wait till signing day for the spot.
They likely believe Lewis has a similar upside and will likely make a quicker decision.
Brown may be over sign worthy if there is any open scholarships.

Nah, no way he moves up that far. He's a low 3* at #95 for his position. He has a lot of offers but from what I'd consider weak schools. Arkansas, UNC, and Pitt are the top schools other than us.
Nothing wrong with it. He could come in and a couple of years be lights out. I just think we should hold out. Probably could get a higher rated transfer.
