Statistically we we’re pretty dat-boy good, we shot ourselves in the feet, hands and buttocks!

All the stats don't mean much if we don't win.

It was an embarrassing loss and we are miles behind FSU at the present. Lack of portal use showed up in a big way in my opinion... We should have brought in a receiver or two and need offensive line help. I don't like the new version of college football, but just the same our coach seems to be coaching a game that doesn't exist anymore and imho it showed up last night.

I'm so sad. Duke? I was shocked. We couldn't beat Duke? Why did Cade only throw short? Wow. We can only go up from here. I'm still wearing orange today. I'm a Tiger forever. Still want to WIN!

I agree. Love Dabo, but he needs to adapt to the changing game. Might have to make some coaching changes, too. Love having Clemson guys as coaches, but they have to be competent. Could be a long, tough year based on what I saw Monday night.

If they keep a FB in their hands 24/7, maybe they will learn to hold onto it. If not for those turn overs, Duke wouldn't have had the ball in their hands so much bc as bad as the D looked with giving up chunk plays, they were getting stops when really needed.

I don't think the lack of portal use was the problem bc we do have tons of talent on this team. I do truly believe that it's the lack of experience with position coaches and DC.
But, I will most definitely agree that the portal shouldn't be shunned the way that Dabo has shunned it. It's there, and it will remain there, and if there is a player in the portal that we can get that will help the team, we should grab that player with the quickness before someone else does!!!

Two things: Chad Morris as OC and Jeff Scott as wide receivers coach. Never better than when this combo was in place.

I totally disagree with Morris as OC, we moved the ball down field under Garrett's first game at Clemson, so I'll stick with him until he proves he can't do it. But 10 thousand percent agree with whoever said that Dabo don't need a play sheet, and he shouldn't ever overrule plays calls that his OC has made. HC is supposed to wear a head set to hear what's going on or said, and give his input, but allow his coaches to call the game!!!

Clemson has more talent than Duke, go get a real DC and LB coach and send the current guy back to doing his spreadsheets. Also, change whoever is the Special Teams coach.

Stats are for losers!
Only one stat really counts and the good guys came up VERY short!
