Next 14 games? Nothing is guaranteed, and to play 14 games means 11 season games, 1 ACC championship and then a playoff win and national championship birth. The way they played tonight, you will be luck to have 12 more games, because even a bowl game is not a guarantee right now.

That was the play of the game (I mean the Cade running down the Duke DB). Our fumble at the goal line that set up Cade’s heroic play … no comment other than LG and LT were both beaten like baby seals on that play, thus the helmet on ball as Mafah received the handoff fumble.

There's no doubt that I'm crushed over this loss, but if there was a bright spot in that ASSWHOOPING, it was with Cade's ability to chase the ball carrier down and put him on the ground. If his determination to catch and tackle that dude isn't enough to give his team the motivation to positively respond to that loss, well then that when mean that the entire team has decided to just lay down for the rest of the season, and I truly hope that doesn't happen bc everything is still left on the table. A season opener loss doesn't look near as bad as a mid to late season loss. It all rides on what happens to the rest of the top tier teams throughout the season.
I've also said a prayer that Dabo will grow a pair and fired a somebody, and my #1 victim would be Grisham with hopes he could get Jeff Scott to take over coaching the WR's bc that area hasn't looked good since he left to be a HC....

From kickoff to final horn it looked like 1st day of practice. Shipley came to play but NOBODY on defense did. Probably not gonna wear orange or paw today. Don’t want any comments or consolation about that Titanic sinking last night.

He has plenty of Heart, and we saw that with him chasing that dude down the field, he gave everything he had to chase him down, any other QB and that dude would have scored!!!

I want a Tim Tebow kind of moment and attitude from him, a “this will not happen again I can promise you that”, a heads on fire no holds barred gut check moment. I want to see that from coaching staff too. No more of this “one or two plays” hear or there kind of crap. We got curb stomped - in all phases. We didn’t even look like a good high school team last night! It’s time for someone to get p!see off on the team and the coaches.

For sure Dabo has to lose that I don't like running up the score attitude he's had over the years bc, if this team has what it will take to recover from this loss in the eyes of the playoff committee, running up the score against everybody we play is what it will take to recover from it IMHO!!!

Time to man up and be accountable. Also more taking about 14 games from these players. They need that 1 game at a time mentality.

Yeah I have noticed a lot of national championship talk from this team. I feel like that is a big problem

And I don't remember that in the past. Even when we had championship teams they kept their mouths shut, their heads down, and their eyes open!

As I said just the other day, I've never heard championship team type talk coming from Dabo during his entire time as HC at Clemson, and when he was saying it a week ago, I felt like he just hung a BLACK cloud over the team and his coaches!!!!
I'm probably the only one that feels something is missing from the way Dabo has handled his business with his teams prior to last season and this one....

No, you are 100% correct! I thought it was strange that Dabo was talking so highly of this team. It seemed out of character. Not sure what’s going on but something just ain’t right. I would love to be proven wrong!!

CK handles this interview quite well, but I do wish...

that the whole "15 game" mantra hadn't been given the wings that it has. I understand that it is a bit of a cliche', but shouldn't we be taking this season "one game at a time?" The most important game is the "next one." That sort of thing? Or is that too old fashioned? Just a thought...
Go Tigers! Fight! Win! The next game!
