Clemson coach Dabo Swinney was live on the field for ESPN's pregame show a few minutes ago. He said he's eager to see Cade Klubnik play and believes Klubnik will thrive out of a practice environment and able to improvise against an opponent tonight.

The only good that I have seen tonight is the running of Shipley. Cade seems unsure and accuracy is not there. Air Raid is not happening. Defense doesn't seem prepared.

Clemson fumbles this time and Duke takes over at their 10. Looks like Klubnik tried to pull away the ball to run and didn't get it out of his running back's arms correctly.

Another red zone fumble for the Tigers and Klubnik is the only one who kept the Blue Devils from returning it all the way. Duke ball at the Clemson 33.

If Clemson loses tonight, the most we can hope for is to ruin everyone else's season. I don't want to hear anyone tell the fans that there's a lot left to play for. Clemson will be lucky to be ranked after tonight.

Klubnik has a ways to go as far as situational awareness. Should know better than to slide short on 4th down.
Hasn’t quite learned from end of 1st half against TN when he forgot that we didn’t have TO left.
He’ll learn.

I think they game planned to play vanilla and ended up losing the game. The playbook opened in the 2nd Half, but it wasn't enough due to the mistakes. Dropped passes and fumbles don't win games.
Defense is not the same either. It's missing violence and intensity. Here's the difference between Wes Goodwin Defense and Brent Venables Defense. THE INTIMIDATION FACTOR IS ABSENT....
When Coach V was at Clemson the defense would put pads on the opposing QB every time the QB attempted a pass even if the pass was released. Whenever Coach V was at Clemson, the defense would have better awareness, but bring extreme violence and pain at the point of attack. It would rattle opposing offenses. The Tackle for Loss count was way higher as well. Sacks were the norm, and opposing offenses didn't have time to develop a play.
I will still watch every game, but only in hopes of ruining everyone else's season. That would bring some joy to fill this void of pain.

My guess is Dabo thought he could run the same five plays and win the game, like in years past, in order to reveal the rest of the offense vs FSU. By the time they quit running every down they were behind and had no margin for error and we all saw how that went.

It is heartbreaking. No words. All this time, waiting, and it’s beyond disappointing. Where have the Tigers gone? The only upside is that maybe tickets and tailgating costs will go down in the secondary market. And maybe the school will find tickets for all of the students who want to go. I wonder if we even fill the stadium this year…

Riley had a Post It Note / index card for play calls on offense…very unflattering. Throws downfield were merely nonexistent. Turnovers. This should be a rude awakening for an on paper very great team! Congrats Duke. Tigers fans…weather this storm…if we win every other game then there is possibility that we have a chance to make the CFP.
