It’s early but they’ve got a lot to figure out. Continue to not strike the ball solid. Three solid hits and two were HRs. There’s no emotion I see. Just walking through the motions.

I kind of noticed the same about the team enthusiasm. My hope is that will improve once they finally get to play in front of a packed home crowd. However, I am concerned this goal of knocking down the door to go farther than the Super Regionals may actually be creating an unhealthy pressure. From what we’ve seen so far this roster has gaps compared to last season. They remind me more of the ‘22 team talent wise. It’s going to take an attitude of overachieving vs. an expectation they have everything they need to get to the WCWS.
