Why can't we recruit our home state .So much talent here.Game chickens can't get everyone.Tired of seeing d1 talent from SC playing for other schools while Clemson is hurting.

We lost Cluse at the end of December, and then Harris got hurt in late January. Those were 2 huge losses to the team. That's probably cost us at least 3-4 games. That's conference games too. So we'd probably be in the 15-12 record.
As growl pointed out, the acc has more quality teams than the sec. Not top 5 talent, but definitely top 25. Therefore, I don't think Amanda should be fired. Especially with the best recruit ever coming in.
That said, she could probably part ways with some assistants. Obviously we're missing height. But, the team should box out better, and definitely play more fundamentals. We've got a couple of players that were very high recruits that haven't developed? Why? Certainly a legit question that Neff needs to have answers.
She'd definitely be on the clock if next season doesn't produce similar results that the men's team this year. Amanda needs to crush it on the transfers and get height and big time players.

What is wrong with our Ladies BB? They seem to quit at times. If you are playing hard you are not going to get abused.

against a zone defense, which most women's teams play. They can hardly dribble, much less hang onto a ball when they try to drive and score. Numerous passes into the paint never find their mark. And they are constantly heaving shots at the rim with less than 3 seconds left on the shot clock. They seem brain-dead at times.
Butler does have a good guard coming in next year, a McDonalds All-American from Tennessee, assuming Butler is still here. Things look very bleak right now.

No doubt about it though ACC womens basketball is tough and may be the best in the country this year. I was looking at the standings and 6 teams with 20 plus win seasons so far and UNC is close at 18 and another has 17 wins.

Quite frankly, no one other than those closest to the program is qualified to make an informed decision about what to do with this program . Questions those people should ask include: Given the portal, if a change is made who will be back? How much interest is there from potential candidates in a program that has been mediocre at best for 20 years? Is there a candidate capable of recruiting successfully in an environment where your home state recruits are essentially locked up by your in-state rival?
