Seems like a movie I’ve seen a lot ……
Let the excuses fly - officiating, guys out, hard to win on the road - seriously every single one of these excuses are MOCKED by one certain poster on here if it was pertaining to football.
I hope we win every single basketball game we play the rest of the year, but our coaching is terrible.

What plays should they have run? There were missed open shots. Fouls that were not called. With your reasoning Dabo should have been fired. You enjoyed that lose too much.

You guys that keep saying that are clueless beyond all hope.
I'm FROM Winston-Salem - I've been to the WS Memorial Coliseum and watched Tiger Basketball there since I was 5 years old.
I like Wake - but beating them gives me a ton of joy for all the beatdowns I watched sitting in that old place back in the day for years and years.
I want our coach & our team to win every single game from here on out - but last night was more than I can bear . . . it is the same ol' same ol'.
A month and a half of basketball left - I hope we win out. We'll see.

WE WON THE ACC CHAMPIONSHIP in football and this place was doing nothing but criticizing our coaches & our players . . . . it is still going on today. AND WE WON THE TITLE.
And our bball team hasn't done ANYTHING yet - NOTHING - and certain posters go on and on about how amazing the coaching has been.
We've had a decent start in basketball - if you close your eyes to the 2 nearly at #300 teams we lost to outside the conference (you think we lose to Wyoming or USF in football & this place wouldn't COMPLETELY flip its gourd - that's what our 2 OOC basketball losses are akin to) - but that is all we have done.
And last night was a glimpse down into the dark well that we have fallen into over & over again for the last 13 years . . . . for all of Clemson basketball history, for the most part.

No. No one would think they were going to win out. If I was a betting man, I would have doubled everything I owned by knowing what was going to happen on the road, the first game after being ranked. At home maybe win. I wanted to be wrong but have seen it and lived it too many times over the years.
Now if they can finish up the last 12 games 8 - 4 or 9 - 3, it will be a very successful regular season.

I agree a lot happened but it was not all on coaching. Maybe 3 or 4 more made 3 pointers throughout the game, 3 or 4 made putbacks on offensive rebounds, a block out here and there, and a couple other things would have pushed the Tigers over the top.

up a shot - let's say a 3 that is early in the shot clock - and we have either NO ONE under the basket for the rebound or MAYBE one guy that is there because that is where he happened to be when the shot went up.
All our other guys are back-peddling into defense & the shot hasn't even gotten CLOSE to the rim yet.
Why aren't we crashing the boards ?
This is another patented move by our current leader that makes no sense to me.
Duke was in the same situation last game & they were wearing us out on the offensive rebound end.
