Several things I especially liked:

-We played with more enthusiasm
-Mafah was a beast
-Our offensive line played their tails off
-We didn’t have nearly as many miscues as usual (turnovers, penalties, etc.)

Notre Dame kept coming and we kept rising to the occasion, especially on defense.

Great win today! Let’s finish the regular season 8-4!

We did have as many miscues. We just had a big enough lead and they happened late enough in the game to overcome them.

Apologies to Shipley lovers, but I’ve been waiting all season for Mafah to get the start and today really showed what I’ve seen when he plays. Mafah is stronger and better suited to play in our system. Shipley is great but he needs an elite OL. Mafah is stronger and can be great on his own.

Thomas Austin has received so much criticism (rightfully so, I think). But his OL played well today.

D was really good & only allowed 16 points; I’m not count the 2 yard drive against them.
