Thank you for your correspondence informing me of your payment offer.
However, I must inform you that your paltry sum of "US$2,750,000.00 (Two million Seven Hundred and Fifty Thousand United States Dollars)" is a considerably low compensation offer in response to your inability to secure the US from Internet scams, spam email, and other cyber security lapses.
In short - your offer is far below the established Treasury Department fair compensation standards as approved by the President and certified by Congress as prescribed in USC 143.7.2 para(a)4. It is not only a personal insult that DHS thinks I would accept anything less than ten times their offered sum (i.e. US$27,500,000 - Twenty Seven million Five Hundred Thousand) but also highlights that the DHS is either incompetent or corrupt by making such an offer.
Rest assured I will consult the White House and the many lawyers in my office to determine my next steps in this matter.
