Boyd "willed" Clemson into the beginning of a new era...

It was the single toughest performance I've ever seen. I was in Miami for the '81 NC game... not the same. Boyd littered the field with a LSU D that put most of their players in the NFL the next year. He pounded them into submission and that eventually opened up the passing. Woody probably dominated the stats more and Homer certainly took home a larger prize but Tajh left everything on the field that night.

Not taking anything away from Boyd as he was incredible in the LSU game. But even a moron DC for LSU could have easily won that game. Throwing at the end of the game??? Geez - how stupid can you get? They should have run it 3 plays, made us use our TO's, and the game would have been over before we could score again. I'm not even sure they had a DC to be honest.

I doubt their DC had any say in the plays their offense ran

Brandon Streeter as QB Coach

I have to give both Stoudt and Streeter props on the Ok game. It's tough to come back from adversity. With Streeter's help, Stoudt did it. Streeter put him in position to be successful and it worked.

our defense didn't have anything to do with Major's performance. He had to be on our said just wearing WVU colors.

I was going to say take Boyd vs OSU off

That was pretty much the Sammy show and Boyd had 2 awful turnovers. But I couldn't think of an overall better performance that wasn't already listed. Dantzler in the Humanitarian might qualify but it wasn't anywhere close to the magnitude of the Orange Bowl.
We beat the dogcrap out of Illinois in the Hall of Fame Bowl and we surprised them by throwing so much in the beginning. Cameron did great, but ultimately that was a defensive win.

Pretty much agree with the content of your list

but IMO the order should be
1. Tajh vs LSU - He probably earned this by the last drive alone
2. Rodney vs Penn State - It wasn't a great statistical day (only 214 yards) but his passing was the difference in a game that was closer than the 25 point margin of victory showed.
3. Homer vs Nebraska - I wanted to put this one higher because it was for the ultimate prize, but a 50% completion percentage and less than 150 total yards.
4. Stoudt vs OU - On a night when the run game was ineffective it was Stoudt's arm that made the difference.
5. Tajh vs Ohio State - Another one I wanted to put higher, and probably would be but for he fact that mistakes by Tajh helped make this game closer than it should be.
